This Baratti & Milano 70% chocolate is part of the Gran Selezione Degustazione collection and uses a blend of cocoa beans from Ghana and Ecuador to create a perfectly balanced 70% chocolate. As in all Baratti & Milano products, there are only natural ingredients used to produce this amazing chocolate. Our chocolate master's objective is to create a chocolate with balanced flavors of tannin from the 70% chocolate. This is the ideal "semi-sweet" flavor for a not-too-dark, not-too-light chocolate experience. This blend creates a balance of flavor of red fruit and floral notes.

Learning Italian:
The true translation of Dark in Italian is Scuro but when describing a dark chocolate many will use the word Fondente which also translates as “concentrated” or “more pure” chocolate.

Italian Translation:
Baratti e Milano Extra Fondente 70% Cioccolatini

To be enjoyed:
Traditionally the 70% blend pairs nicely with a bold cabernet for a true red wine and chocolate experience. A little more non- traditional pairing would pair it alongside an orange liquor such as a Bauchant Liquor. With the blend of orange extracts and mixture of cognacs, the liquor softens the tannins in the chocolate and smoothens out the flavor for a fun experience! Serve the liquor slightly chilled.
